Returns & refunds

* please note that bespoke special order cannot be refunded or exchanged*

Returns within 14 days of receipt please; strictly with LABELS ATTACHED, arm sleeves in place, poly slip bags and the package well wrapped and glasses unworn/undamaged.Items that arrive back damaged, incomplete or clearly worn will not be refunded.

The cost of returning your order is borne by you, the purchaser.

If labels are removed, then the item wil be deemed 'worn & used' and not refundable.

Returns must be accompanied by a Returns Number, obtained by emailing me before you send any order back. Refunds will be made within 7 days of receipt back at Retro Peepers office.

If the above [Returns & Refunds] conditions are adhered to, a full refund for the frames will be refunded within 7 business days of receipt of your return. Refunds will be made to the PayPal account you purchased with and not in any other way. Shipping costs for 'special orders' are not refundable.

International return shipping costs are at your expense; please note that customs declarations must be filled out appropriately [please mark as 'returning goods no commercial value' on Customs Declaration] as Retro Peepers will not pay any import duties for goods returned from outside the UK.

If you wish to return your frame for exchange, I will charge the appropriate additional return shipping cost

Payments All payments are all processed through PayPal. PayPal accepts all major credit cards (Visa, Master Card, American Express, and Discover), debit cards, bank transfers, and PayPal transfers. You do not need a PayPal account to use their secure service. When you place your order, Paypal will finalize payment on a secure server then send you back to our site.. Payment can also be made by direct bank deposit if you do not wish to use PayPal. Please contact us for further information.  If you have any special shipping requests please contact me before purchase and I will send you a PayPal invoice. You will receive an email from PayPal when your goods are shipped The shipment notification email will include any relevant delivery information, like confirmation or tracking numbers (if available).International orders require extra time for processing and delivery. Each country has its own postal service and customs, please note that we are not responsible for any customs, duties or tax payable on entry into your country.Returns & Refunds If you don't like your frames or they don't like you :) or you're unhappy with your purchase, you can return the item(s) to us up to 14 days after dispatch for a full refund, excluding your delivery charge to send the item back to us. Please check them carefully whenever you make a purchase. 2 Payment and price 2.1 Payment is in advance by PAYPAL or DIRECT BANK DEPOSIT on our website. We will only process payments if we obtain authorisation from our credit card processing partner. 2.2 The price for the goods you order is stated clearly on our site. VAT is not applicable We may change the price of goods at any time before you send us your order. 2.3 If an item has been incorrectly priced, we reserve the right to supply the item only at the correct price. If we become aware after you place your order that a price is wrong, we will give you the option of re-ordering the item at the correct price or cancelling your order. 2.4 Delivery is charged extra at the rate specified when you place your order. 3. Your order 1 Your order is an offer to buy from us. Please check your order carefully to ensure it is correct. Please supply us with all necessary information relating to the goods you order within a sufficient time to enable us to perform this contract. 2 Acceptance 1 A binding legal contract will not come into existence between us until the point when we accept your order by despatching the goods. This means that until that happens we may decline to supply the goods to you, for example due to unavailability. Nothing else that we do or say will amount to acceptance of your offer. 2 Unavailability 5.1 If any goods are unavailable, we will notify you of the unavailability as soon as possible and will arrange for a full refund to your PAYPAL account if your PAYPAL account has been debited. 2 6. Delivery 6.1 We will arrange for delivery to the address which you specify when ordering. Unless we state otherwise on our website, we will deliver goods only to those countries specified on our web site. 6.2 We will do our best to arrange delivery asap and within 10 days [UK only] and within  30 days of the date of your order as of and per the 13 June 2014 Consumer Contracts Regulations. Our liability of any kind for late delivery or failure to deliver is limited to the price payable for the goods. 6.3 An extra delivery charge may become payable if you are not present to accept delivery. 1 Risk of damage or loss to the goods passes to you on delivery or, if you wrongfully refuse delivery, when delivery is attempted. 2 Ownership 1 Property (i.e. ownership) of the goods shall not pass to you before we have received cleared payment for the goods. 2 Right to cancel 1 If you are a consumer, as defined in the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, you have the right within 7 working days of delivery of goods to cancel the contract by letter (by hand or post), fax or email to retropeepers@gmail.com. If you cancel, you must immediately return the goods together with the invoice to the above trading address at your expense by recorded delivery post (keeping proof of your despatch) or such other method as we may agree in writing on request. We will deduct the direct costs of recovery from the credit card refund if you do not comply or if you return them at our expense. However, we will pay the cost of returning any substitute goods. 2 Data protection 9.1 Any personal information collected from you is handled in accordance with our privacy policy 10. General 10.1 These T&Cs shall be governed by English law and any disputes will be decided only by the English courts. 10.2 If any part of these T&Cs is deemed ineffective for any reason, the remainder shall continue shall in full force. 10.3 A person who is not a party to this agreement shall have no right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 to enforce any term of this agreement. 10.4 Neither party is liable for failure to perform or delay in performing any obligation (excluding payment) under this agreement if the failure or delay is caused by any circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

Shipping

I ship worldwide; my peepers are seen in Las Vegas to Finland, Brazil to Oxford, Orkney to the Outback.

 

U.K.SHIPPING

Purchases totalling £20 and under are shipped by Royal Mail 1st Class £3.35. Purchases over £20 are shipped by Royal Mail 1st Class Signed For £4.45. Purchases totalling over £99 are shipped by Royal Mail Special Delivery £7.95. 

I aim to dispatch within 72hrs of receiving your purchase,but sometimes this is just not possible.Bespoke lens orders can take up to 14 business days, but are usually 7-10 business days from your order.

Dispatches are made twice weekly on Tuesdays and Fridays ONLY. Cut off time for orders is 4pm Monday and 10am Friday.

If you require your order urgently, please contact me and I will try to post asap.We will do our best to arrange delivery asap and within 10 days [UK only] but cannot guarantee delivery within this time frame, but will be within 30 days of the date of your order as of and per the 13 June 2014 Consumer Contracts Regulations.If your order hasn't arrived within 7 days of shipping notication, please contact me and I will send you a copy of the proof of postage which will have your Royal Mail tracking number.It is advisable to contact your local Royal Mail Delivery Office with that number in case they were unable to deliver and are holding your parcel.

Items can be dispatched by Royal Mail International Standard [not tracked] or by International Track & Sign £10.95

 

U.S.A, CANADA and the rest of the world

Due to parcels being lost in the post [particularly to USA] and the high cost for me to replace missing items, All INTERNATIONAL ITEMS will now be shipped ONLY by tracked, secure Royal Mail INTERNATIONAL TRACKED & SIGNED from £10.95 depending on the size & weight of your order; this will be calculated at check out.

This service is fully tracked; the tracking number will be advised when I have it, usually 3 - 4 days after shipping
